CVS Health is continuing its successful faith-based workforce development with Pittsburgh, PA congregation Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Catholic Charities of Brooklyn and Queens, one of the largest faith-based affordable housing providers, has launched a solar-energy project across its existing 44 buildings. The initiative is a response to Pope Francis’ 2015 letter, Laudato Si, which outlined his environmental concerns, including climate change. 

In the 1970’s the Willis-Knighton Health System in Louisiana began adapting abandoned buildings into much needed medical clinics. By 1995, they had begun their work on Project Neighbor health, which sought to provide health clinics in areas where there were medically disadvantaged peoples.
