555 Greenwich in Hudson Square will soon be home to a new 16-story office building designed by COOKFOX Architects. Trinity Church Wall Street has partnered with Hines and Norges Bank Investment Management; the joint venture is being called Hudson Square Properties.

When completed, 555 Greenwich will be one of the most energy efficient buildings in NYC. All 27000 SF of the building was designed with “clean energy technology to create a healthy environment for workers and minimize the impact of construction on the environment’. It will be rated LEED Platinum because of its sustainable plumbing and mechanical system that will reduce carbon consumption by 46% and electrical consumption by 29%.

This development was made possible by a 2013 rezoning of Hudson Square which has allowed for new luxury condo buildings, tech companies and media companies to rent or construct new office spaces in the lower Manhattan neighborhood.
