Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) announced the 2021 winners of the Sam and Helen R. Walton Award. The award is bestowed annually to new Presbyterian churches who are working in creative ways to bring the gospel to their communities.
The Open Table, in Kansas City, and Ormewood Church in Atlanta are 2021 recipients of the award. OpenTable will use award funds to renovate their sanctuary space so it may be more conducive to live streaming. Likewise,Ormewood will use their award towards facilities upgrades for livestreams and hybrid worship.
The Mission Program Grant, which provides members of 1001 New Worshiping Communities with short-term start-up funds, has been awarded to 18 new worshipping communities. 1001 New Worshipping Communities is a movement in the PCUSA to begin 1,001 new worship communities using new and varied forms of church for our diverse and changing culture.

Ministerio en Tustin (Presbytery of Los Ranchos, Synod of Southern California & Hawaii)
